Pyobacteriophage is a mixture of sterile filtrates of phagolysates specifically active against Streptococcus, Staphylococcus, E. coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Proteus bacterial strains. The cream (unguentum) format provides convenient topical application for various infections, distributed without prescription.

Composition & pharmacological action
Active phage components
Mixture of sterile filtrates of phagolysates of bacteria:
- Streptococcus spp.
- Staphylococcus aureus
- Escherichia coli (different serotypes)
- Pseudomonas aeruginosa
- Proteus vulgaris and Proteus mirabilis
Pharmacological action
Causes specific lysis of Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus spp., different serotypes of Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Proteus vulgaris and mirabilis, providing targeted antibacterial action without affecting beneficial bacteria.
Therapeutic indications
Treatment and prophylaxis of purulent-inflammatory and enteric infectious diseases caused by the microorganisms mentioned above.
